Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how 812 Studio LLP ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the FinT iOS application (the "App") or contact us. FinT is an educational application. It does not provide personalized financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
1. Information stored on your device
The App may store the following information locally on your device:
- question responses, performance, and practice or exam history;
- flashcard progress, review history, and study sessions;
- bookmarks, learning goals, streaks, and activity history;
- achievements, collectibles, and unlock information; and
- appearance, theme, navigation, and other App preferences.
This locally stored information is used to provide and personalize App features. It is not automatically transmitted to 812 Studio LLP, and we cannot remotely access it. FinT does not currently apply a time-based retention limit to this on-device information. Depending on your Apple device and backup settings, it may be included in backups managed by you and Apple.
2. Purchases and subscriptions
FinT offers purchases through Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the purchase flow, payment information, and Apple Account information. The App accesses StoreKit product information and verified transaction, subscription, and entitlement status as needed to display products, process purchases or restores, and determine Premium access.
812 Studio LLP does not receive or store your full payment-card, bank, or Apple Account credentials, and we do not operate a server that receives this StoreKit information. Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by App Store & Privacy and the Apple Privacy Policy.
Deleting FinT does not cancel an active subscription or delete purchase history maintained by Apple. You can manage subscriptions through your Apple Account settings.
3. User-initiated sharing
Some App features may open the iOS share sheet so that you can choose to share feedback, suggestions, or reports through another app or service. FinT does not automatically send this content. Information is shared only after you select a destination and confirm the action. The selected service handles the information under its own privacy policy.
4. Communications with us
If you contact us voluntarily, we may receive your email address, name, message, attachments, and any device or App information you choose to include. We use this information only to respond, provide support, investigate issues, and improve FinT.
We retain support communications only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and for no longer than 24 months, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. You may request earlier deletion by emailing 812studiobyp@gmail.com. Your email provider and ours may process communications under their own privacy terms.
5. Analytics, advertising, and tracking
As of this policy's effective date, FinT does not include developer-operated analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking services, and we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
6. Retention and deletion
Locally stored App information remains on your device until it is removed through an applicable App control, overwritten through normal App use, or removed with the App. We cannot remotely access or delete information that remains only on your device.
The in-App "Reset All Progress" control resets the progress categories covered by that feature. It is not a complete device-data erasure control and may leave preferences, activity records, bookmarks, achievements, or unlock information stored locally. To remove FinT's local data from a device, delete the App. Copies may remain in device backups until you manage or delete those backups through Apple's services.
Support communications are retained as described in Section 4. Purchase and subscription records controlled by Apple are subject to Apple's retention practices.
7. Children
FinT is intended for a general audience, is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable local law, and is not offered in the App Store Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.
8. International processing
812 Studio LLP is based in Kazakhstan. If you contact us, your communication may be processed in Kazakhstan and in other countries where the email or communication providers used by you or us operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those in your country. Apple and GitHub may also process information in countries where they or their service providers operate, under their respective privacy terms.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, contact us using the email address below. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where required by law.
Because App progress is stored locally and is not accessible to us, you control that information directly on your device as described in Section 6. We generally cannot identify, access, or delete information controlled independently by Apple, GitHub, or a communication provider you select.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the limited information we handle. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
11. This legal website
This page is hosted using GitHub Pages. We do not add analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking technologies to this page. When you visit it, GitHub may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, device or browser information, request date and time, pages viewed, and referring website, and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy terms. 12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when FinT's features or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice.
